About
We built the app that stops before sending.
It is the decision that shapes everything else, and the one we are most often asked to reconsider.
The problem is not applying to too few jobs
It is the time each application eats. Twenty minutes copying from your CV into a form that asks for exactly what is already in the file you attached on the previous page. You do that four times in one evening and give up on the fifth. And the fifth could have been the one.
The part that matters, which is choosing where you apply and saying why you fit, is the part that runs out of time.
The easy answer would be to automate sending
It already exists, and it sells well: a hundred applications a day, one click. The trouble is what that did to the other side. Recruiters started receiving volume instead of applications, and defended themselves: harder filters, less attention each, suspicion by default.
Whoever fires off a hundred is now worth less than whoever sends five. And the hundred were written by someone who never read the posting.
So the app does the work and hands the decision back
It writes the resume, writes the letter, fills in the form. And pulls over. You read, you fix, you send. It takes thirty seconds longer than pressing one button, and it is the difference between an application of yours and a bot's application with your name on it.
We lost a marketing promise that would have been useful. We got an app the person on the other side does not throw away.
What we do not do with your data
No ads, no third-party trackers, no advertising profiles, nothing sold to anyone. The CV of someone looking for work is among the most personal files there are, and the business here is selling credits, not selling the people who use them.
You can delete the whole account from inside the app, without writing to anyone, and it all goes with it.
Who is behind it
JobHunter is built and run by Realchain, S.A., in Portugal. It is a small team; there is no call centre and no point pretending there is. You write, and someone who works on the product answers.
